Suggestions for Picking up and Returning Frameline29 Films:
  • While I make every effort to meet each reviewer's requests, limited availability often necessitates a requestor have several backup films in mind when making requests. (I'm also willing to occasionally put a film in queue so that once returned, I can notify you of its availability.)
  • Feel free to reserve an available film by calling, emailing, or simply providing your request in person, such as at a press screening. All contact information is listed above. Please notify me in advance, whenever possible, if you plan to pick up or drop off films at a press screening.
  • Number of films checked out at any given time is roughly three or four-unless you've made arrangements to check out a greater number of titles. I'm happy to work with each reviewer's specific needs and deadlines as appropriate. Flexibility and moderation are my goals to assure everyone gets to review the films they desire.
  • All tapes must be returned to the Frameline office at 145 Ninth Street, Ste. 300. My office is located in room 304, but should the door be locked, you can also drop off films in the main office. I also request each reviewer provides tear-sheets of their review. If a tear-sheet cannot be provided, please indicate the expected publication date of the review (or the URL where it will post online) so that I can prepare as complete a clipping book as possible.
  • I'm happy to provide recommendations for which films you might enjoy reviewing, as well as those that are appropriate to your audience's interests. Please don't hesitate to talk movies with me as this is something I enjoy and it helps me learn a little about you and your publication in the process.
